Calculator Utility.
The WSIB System Navigator offers a unique method for entering calculations into the system

During the form filling process when the current field is a numeric field the user can enter the information using the number keys on the keyboard.

Another method available to this system is the Calculator Magic Key. When the current field is a numeric field the user can also bring up the calculator by either:

pressing the <F12> function key or
placing the mouse cursor over the field and clicking the
right mouse button

Either method will bring up the calculator:

The user can enter a series of numbers and calculations using the keypad on the keyboard if the Num Lock is on.

For example: if the user wishes to enter the Actual Last Day Earnings and knows that the worker worked 3 hours and their salary is $14.65 per hour, the user would enter 14.65, then press the * denoting multiplication, followed by the number 3. The user can then either press the <enter> key on the keyboard or press the = sign on the Calculator.

The number 43.95 now appears on the Calculator. The user can enter this into the current numeric field by pressing the Insert Button on the Calculator.

The user can use the Calculator at any time by either selecting the Utilities | Calculator from the Main Menu, or by pressing the Calculator button on the toolbar.

Intuitive Ease of Use
The value in the Calculator can be automatically inserted into the active field by the user.

The user does NOT have to re-type the results into a field after calculating a value.
